Present edition of the book has been improved, well organized, enlarged and made up-to-date in the light of latest syllabi. This book is technically prepared for B.E./B.Tech. students of RGPV, Bhopal. In this edition three new topics, ""Worldviews, Assessment for Environment and Applications of various Pollution Control Mechanisms,"" have been incorporated in Appendix-B. As a subject teacher observes difficulty in the Ill semester, i.e., students of all branches of engineering and technology studying under Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) that they find incomplete RGPV syllabus under one roof. Hence the book entitled "A TEXTBOOK OF ENERGY ENVIRONMENT ETHICS AND SOCIETY" is written as per revised syllabus. The book includes 100% coverage of syllabus arranged systematically unitwise. Unit 1 of this book deals with Energy, Unit 2 Society and Environment, Unit 3 Ecosystem, Unit 4 Ail, Noise & Water Pollution, Analysis from different small and large scale industries and Unit 5 Ethics and Moral Values. A large number of technical figures, graphs and tables have been presented in the book for better understanding of the subject. In the end of this book, scientific issues at a glance are used. ""Curious questions with scientific observations"" section is also added to learn the subject more specially. Mostly Appendices are added to cover the subject matter "Beyond the syllabus".
