It has been an ambitious undertaking to address the needs of health professionals and patients and their carers. Having said that, many health professionals including physicians and nurses know little of pulmonary rehabilitation and its scope and aims. This book is a good primer for them. This text provides solid basic information and practical information as per its goal. Nutrition has been addressed which is all-important these days. Chronic low-grade systemic inflammation is a common denominator of noncommunicable diseases and can be offset in part with whole food, plant-based nutrition which is 'anti-inflammatory'. The traditional Indian diet is excellent in this regard given Indian spices have strong anti-inflammatory properties. I congratulate the editors for pulling this together cohesively over multiple short chapters. I appreciate how much work is involved.
