Chapter 13 has been completely rewritten incorporating more material on creep deformation mechanism and new discussions of deformation mechanism maps super plasticity and creep-fatigue interaction. New topics introduced include the finite element method fractography normality of the yield surface computer-aided manufacturing and the instrumented Charpy test.
