The second module deals with basic laws of electric and magnetic fields, atomic structure, radioactivity, ionization and excitation, characteristics of x-rays, x-ray machinery components and x-ray generator circuits. The third module sheds light on principles of radiation detection and measurements, fluoroscopy, body-section radiography, basic physics of CT, basic physics of MRI and angiography and cineradiography. Each chapter starts with introduction, learning objectives and then switches over to the subject matter and offers questions in the form of Check Your Progress. At the end of each chapter students will find Summary, Keywords, Exercise and Answers to Check Your Progress. It is a must read to the students of radiation physics.
